BrightLife Therapy: Empowering Individuals Towards Healing
Brightlife Therapy PLLC’s mission is to help those going through dark or difficult times; providing clients support, guidance, and encouragement toward a more positive and hopeful future.
I believe the client is the expert of their lives, and as your therapist, I want to help you explore and embrace your unique identities, values, and cultural influences as integral parts of your healing journey.
Start Your Healing Journey to Brighter Days ♡
I believe healing and recovery take place in the context of relationships, with ourselves and others. That’s why I seek to help my clients understand how past experiences have shaped their lives, and give them tools to increase their overall well-being.
As your therapist, I’ll be helping you increase your self-awareness, so you can identify and understand ways in which your current situations, behaviors, and patterns help or hinder your life.
My goal is to help clients feel empowered and improve their lives.
Not only with yourself, but with your loved ones too. I believe the path to do so is to explore, acknowledge and validate your feelings & experiences – as well as discover ways to improve your circumstances and perspective.
Whenever you’re ready to make this positive change in your life, feel free to reach out to me any time! ♡

My Specialities Include
Anxiety and Depression
Anxiety and depression therapy helps individuals manage symptoms of these mental health conditions. I would provide support, teach coping skills, and explore underlying factors contributing to anxiety and depression.
Relationship Issues
Relationship therapy helps individuals and couples address and improve issues within their relationships. I would offer support, communication skills, and strategies to enhance emotional connection and resolve conflicts.
Life Transitions
Life transitions therapy helps individuals cope with major life changes like moving, starting a new job, or experiencing loss. I will offer support, guidance, and coping strategies to navigate these transitions, fostering resilience and adjustment.
Grief & Loss
Grief is the experience of coping with loss, and it can arise from many life changes, not only the death of a loved one. Healing has no set timeline, and each person’s experience of grief is unique. We will begin processing grief, navigate emotions, and find a way forward in your own pace.
Self-Esteem and Identity
Self-esteem and identity therapy focuses on helping individuals develop a positive self-image and a strong sense of self. I will work with you to explore your beliefs, values, and experiences, while challenging negative self-perceptions and building confidence.
LGBTQIA+ Issues
I believe it is important to provide an inclusive and affirming approach with LGBQIA+ individuals to help them cope with discriminations they may face, explore their identity, and address relationships, marriage, parenting, and so much more.
Neurodivergent-Affirming Care
Support for late-diagnosed or self-identified neurodivergent individuals, honoring unique ways of thinking with affirming, individualized care for ADHD, autism, AuDHD, sensory processing differences, and more.
Trauma and PTSD
My comprehensive approach includes evidence-based techniques like EDMR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure Therapy, and mindfulness-based therapies. I provide personalized care to help individuals heal from traumatic experiences and regain control of their lives.
BIPOC & Cultural Identity
Life as a BIPOC individual can bring challenges, including systemic bias, oppression, cultural pressure, and identity exploration. I honor your cultural background, validate your experiences, and help you build resilience while embracing your authentic self.
FAQs
-
Choose online therapy and mental health services when you need convenient access, flexibility in scheduling, and a comfortable environment for seeking support. It's also beneficial for those who prefer remote options or have difficulty accessing traditional in-person therapy.
-
Studies suggest that sessions every two weeks can keep things on track (Norcross, 2011), but I recommend starting weekly to really hit the ground running. From there, you can easily space things out as you progress to bi-weekly or monthly, it’s totally up to you! Most clients start strong with weekly sessions and gradually space them out as their symptoms improve, while also applying what they've learned to maintain progress.
